The texts have been adapted from the publications of the Ornithological Group of Roussillon, in particular the number 14 of the bulletin "La Mélano" of May 2017 (special issue: naturalistic synthesis of the year 2015 in the Pyrénées-Orientales).
Inventory of species :
The inventory of species retained in Ornitho-66 is based on the SINP database (Information System on Nature and Landscapes), accessible through the website www.faune-lr.org. This site is managed by the MERIDIONALIS Union which is in charge, for the Languedoc-Roussillon region, of approving all the observations entered by the members of its adherent associations (including the GOR).
It should be noted that we have excluded from this inventory:
- species whose wild origin in the department is not proven (examples : Barnacle Goose, Black Swan, Egyptian Goose, Collared Parakeet, ...)
- the species whose last observation in the department dates back more than ten years
